課程介紹


本堂課將帶領同學去認識互動介面與使用者體驗之關聯性,並了解多元使用者的不同需求與互動介面設計之關聯;同時理解互動科技趨勢,從中探索多元使用者與多元介面的設計變化,討論各種不同介面設計的可能性(例如平面、立體、語音、肢體等的互動介面)。課程安排將以案例分享、講座、業師工作坊等,同時讓學生以個人與小組專題進行,觀察、研究、設計實作等並進。

Course Introduction


This course will explore the relationship between interactive interfaces and user experience by integrating everyday observations and content from science fiction movies/novels. It will also cover trends in interactive technology, discussing different interface designs (graphic, tangible, voice, and gesture-based interfaces) and the diverse needs of users. The course will include lectures, group discussions, and practical observation and design activities, allowing students to apply what they have learned. Additionally, the course will discuss the design possibilities of interactive interfaces from the perspective of science fiction movies.

Learning Goal


Students will be able to:

  1. Understand the logic behind human-machine interface design.
  2. Reflectively construct their own understanding and conduct observational research on human-computer interface design.
  3. Apply design skills to create creative interfaces and consider various types of users’ needs, including non-human users.

上課方式與課程規劃 | Weekly Plan

本課程將以「主題式工作坊」進行,課堂會有演講主題與設計工作坊相互做搭配。

學生將在課堂中探索各種學術實驗性與業界實務性的介面設計案例,課堂上進行討論,建構自己對於介面設計之獨特見解。總課程中有16週,以主題方式分為四個階段。

This course will be conducted as a 'thematic workshop,' with lecture topics and design workshops complementing each other. Students will explore various academic experimental and industry practical interface design cases in class, engage in discussions, and construct their unique perspectives on interface design. The total course spans 16 weeks, divided into four stages by theme, see the following:

階段一:人機互動介面探索

Part 1: Human-Computer Interface Design Exploration

W2 (2/21) - W5 (3/20)

老師將帶領同學討論人機介面之定義,並探索各種型態的人機介面(真實生活至科幻電影;從平面至實體至聲音)。

The teacher will lead the students in discussing the definition of human-computer interaction and explore various types of human-computer interfaces (from everyday to fictional; from digital to physical to sound).

階段二:業界介面Figma設計工作坊

Part 2: UX & UI - Figma Design Workshop

W6 (3/27) - W9(4/17)

老師將介紹figma工具,並分享業界數位介面流程與工具教授給同學,同學將在課堂上透過小練習練習實際介面開發所需技能。

The teacher will introduce the Figma tool and share digital interface processes and tools used in the industry with the students. The students will practice the skills needed for actual interface development through small exercises in class.

階段三:另類人機互動介面探索

Part 3: Alternative Interface Exploration

W10 (4/24) - W12 (5/8) **調整

老師將帶領同學討論實驗性的另類人機介面,刺激同學們對於未來介面設計之想像與設計靈感之討論。

The teacher will lead the students in discussing experimental alternative human-computer interfaces, stimulating discussions among the students about imagination and design inspiration for future interface designs.

階段四:學生設計專題

Part 4: Student Project

W10 (4/24) - W16(6/5) ** 調整

同學分組或個人根據這堂課所學,以及結合自己的興趣,自行決定主題,與老師個別指導與討論期末成果。

Students, either in groups or individually, will decide on a theme based on what they have learned in this class and their own interests. They will receive individual guidance and discuss the final results with the teacher.
