These are the ten images I designed. I chose apples as the theme because they are often used for beginners’ practice, such as in sketching, watercolor, and more. I believe this assignment represents the most fundamental level of my design journey, which is why I used apples as the theme.
In this project, I encountered many challenges. The first was choosing a theme, as having too many options left me without direction. In the end, I decided to start with "the basics" and chose the apple as my theme. The second challenge was creating the work using dots of the same size. Because of this rule, the number of effects I could achieve was significantly reduced, but I still managed to complete it successfully. The last difficulty I faced was that the teacher announced the rule of "no overlapping dots" the day before the presentation, which rendered several of my designs unusable. I had to redesign new patterns. Although it was extremely challenging and exhausting, I still felt very happy when I saw the final result.
